Somewhere between
useful and delightful.
Waltz for Rimy is an independent development brand from Japan. Instead of packing products with features, we focus on one experience at a time and refine it until it feels natural to use in everyday life.
Why “Waltz”?
A waltz has structure, but it also flows. That balance is a useful model for software: interactions should have a clear rhythm, while still feeling light enough that the next step comes naturally.
Build small, then refine through use
We do not treat the first implementation as the final answer. We test the actual experience, remove friction, add what is genuinely useful, and keep simplifying what gets in the way.
What we explore
Our projects currently include Japanese text input, visual and auditory training, speed reading, memory, pitch recognition, and brain-training exercises. The categories vary, but the standards stay the same: easy to start, clear to operate, and pleasant enough to return to.
Japanese and English are the first supported languages, with broader localization planned as projects mature.
